Founded: 1992
Director: Barbara Kazior

Organization Description:
The Polish Environmental Partnership Foundation began its operations on July 1st 1997 as an independent, not - for - profit and self - governing foundation based in Kraków. We build partnerships for local development promoting cooperative action involving local communities, companies, local and national government agencies and universities. We support environmental initiatives, which build effective and sustainable mechanisms for protecting the natural environment. The PEPF promotes sustainable development as a practical opportunity for improved quality of life by supporting initiatives, which encourage economic and social development at the local community level. The foundation also works with business as an influential partner in improving quality of life and environmental conditions at the local level by helping small and medium-sized companies integrate a concern for the environment and local community where they operate into their day-to-day business activities.
